There are a lot of people in our community who are really into Halloween. Over the past few years, we’ve seen more and more houses decorated for the holiday. This year, skeletons are all the rage. The creative displays that we’ve seen on our walks the past couple of weeks are definitely worth sharing!

The guitarist is one of my favorites.
How could I not include the chef?
Oops!
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!
This guy is going to be late to the party.

Not all of the decorations have been skeletons. Witches and ghosts have been represented, too.

There must have been a motion sensor, because she talked as we walked by.

Our decorating was limited to painting a pumpkin and putting it on our “Frankenstein” stand. We don’t carve a jack o’lantern because, in Florida heat and humidity, it will be rotted by the next morning. (We did the experiment and decided not to replicate it). Instead, I paint the pumpkin. This year, I found a warty one. It’s easy to paint a smooth pumpkin, but these don’t reveal their personality immediately. We’ve named this year’s pumpkin Bob, in honor of Bob Marley. We figure he would have appreciated blue dreadlocks.

Happy Halloween! May it be filled with treats and no tricks.

I hung my broom, too!

That’s really such creative skeletal art! I especially liked the chef one. Thank you so much for sharing; I enjoyed them. 👍

We don’t celebrate Halloween here, though, but I liked the creative art. ☺️
