We drove to Orlando this morning, as we’re going to a show with Ben and Annie, our son and daughter-in-law, this evening. Ken and I are both looking forward to seeing “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors” at Orlando Shakespeare Theater. The promos say it is a comic vampire spoof with nods to Mel Brooks and Monty Python, so it should be fun. But I was in a quandary as to what pictures to use for my Friday post.

Then I looked at my Facebook memories for the day, and I had my answer. Three years ago, I had been at Mounts Botanical Garden for an advanced master gardener workshop. I’d had time to walk through the garden and indulge my photography habit. I decided to share some of the photos from that day. Every trip to the garden is a new adventure.

I had to share this, too. We love to stop at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice on our way to Ben’s. We get what they call “jelati,” layered Italian ice and soft-serve ice cream. I love their seasonal pumpkin pie offering, pumpkin Italian ice, vanilla ice cream, and crumbled Biscoff cookies. It’s so good, especially on a hot day. I’ll get back to healthy eating tomorrow 😀
