What’s your favorite thing to cook?

I would be hard pressed to choose one specific dish that is my favorite to cook. But a food, an ingredient that I love to cook? That’s easy: fish.
I’ve posted plenty of fish recipes since I started this blog, and with good reason. There are so many delicious ways to prepare fish.

I probably prepare salmon more than any other fish. It’s readily available, and I have simple recipes like the herb sauce pictured above, or my salmon version of Wellington, where the fish is topped with sautéed mushrooms and wrapped in phyllo before baking.

I’ve even cooked salmon in my tagine.

I like to cook white fish, too. If yellowtail snapper is available, it’s hard for me to resist, but we cook a lot of cod, flounder, and halibut. These fish are so versatile!


Even though I cooked salmon just last week, I think it’s time for fish again!
