I spotted this great egret sitting on the canal bank as Ken and I were out for another chilly walk this morning. Alas, he took flight before I could get my phone out of my pocket and open. But I managed to catch him in flight. Thanks to the wonders of iPhone photography, I was able to crop what was a very off-center picture into something worth sharing. The photo taken after he landed on the far bank is untouched, however.

Very impressive! Nature brings everything nice to us, and birds like the one you’re showing are one of them.
I really like how this bird opens its wings with white feathers as it flies, as they look very nice!
Walking outside in the mornings is very relaxing; you get to see more awesome things that nature gives us. ☺️
