What bores you?

To be honest, very little bores me. There always seems to be something to keep my attention. Even if Ken and I are walking the same route we took two days before, there’s sure to be some to pique my interest. Like, how did that feather get stuck in the fence? What kind of bird is it from? What birds will we see on our walk?

I’m think it’s hard to be bored if you’re busy. It’s rare that I’m not occupied with some activity, but if I feel that I don’t have something to do, I can blog. There’s nothing boring about writing this blog or reading the blogs that I subscribe to.

I will admit to one thing that I find boring: meetings. I try to avoid them as much as possible. Too many meetings don’t accomplish anything. I particularly hate meetings held for the sake of having a meeting: those monthly “required” meetings where participants give reports that would be better as an email or, even worse, was distributed as an email but which the person proceeds to sit in the meeting and read to everyone. But, since I tell people that I’m allergic to meetings and do my best to hide any time the word “committee” is raised, I’ve done pretty well staying out of potentially boring situations.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have places to go and things to do 😄
