You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?
Oh, this is a fun prompt! I love reading, and I have a couple favorite spots at home where I usually read, but neither is a dedicated book space. So I had fun today, looking online for ideas. I’m excited to share what inspired me or caught my eye.

I love to read outdoors, even though it’s not always practical, and it certainly isn’t a place to keep books. Twice, though, we have stayed in a little cabin in the north Georgia mountains, and I spent as much time as I could on the deck, reading. The cabin is built into the side of the mountain, so the deck is in the tree canopy. So I was drawn to this library with a view.

My space also has to have a comfortable chair, and I like to put my feet up. This looks like it would fit the bill.

My ideal space would have a desk with plenty of room to spread out whatever I’m working on, lots of storage, and, of course, a comfortable, ergonomic office chair. This looks ideal.

Of course, ultimately I’d need to make some compromises. This final scene, with a lovely view, lots of shelves, and a comfy-looking chair, looks like my idea of home library heaven!
