What book are you reading right now?

I’m currently reading The Women by Kristin Hannah. This is somewhat of an unexpected read for me. As much as I love historical fiction, and as many WWII novels as I’ve read, I’ve avoided anything related to the Vietnam war. It just intersects too closely with my life. But this book is so well written, the characters and their stories so compelling, that it’s difficult to put down. It’s not easy for me to read, but, in a sense, it’s cathartic. I highly recommend.

    Lynn – I am always reading something – and currently, The Gnostic Gospel by Elaine Pagels. I read it perhaps 20 years ago. However, our church has a sacred text discussion every Monday – this month – Christianity! Totally recommend the book. Mary
